Jacking Points

Recommended Posts

Where're the best points to lift a G31 on a small trolley jack for wheel changing? I haven't looked yet to see whether it's easy to get under the lower suspension points etc. or whether the tyre comes too far over.

there are jacking pads behind the side skirt right at the front and right at the back.

You will need a jack adapter pad to not crack them. One like this will suffice:

Thanks for the pointer.

I'm not usually keen on jacking the body when I'm at home on the drive because of the height needed to clear the suspension. Better if you can just lift the hub assembly I feel. I'll investigate a bit with this as a fallback.
