Splash screens and/or default mode

Recommended Posts

I suspect the answer is no but...

Anyway to turn off the splash screens that appear when you switch between driving modes? Or even better, anyway to set a default mode? I tend to drive in eco, but occasionally put in Sport to nip out/round something. It's not doing me any harm, but equally I know I've changed modes!!

I've only seen it discussed as coding - I'm not sufficiently bothered about it to try!

Yes, coding solves that, car can be set to start up in EcoPro

There is also a setting in idrive to stop the splash screens. Will take a picture when I'm next in the car.
