Doyal 16 Report post Posted May 23, 2018 I was considering it for my m535i. I emailed them and they are willing to work with someone with a RHD car. As in some form of deal to document fitting & any issues discovered. I left it as that for the time being.

Hi Doyal I'm happy to pick up where you left off on this and document all progress on a thread. If it ends up with us having a cheaper option for a tubular manifold other than the fritz then all good. Cheers
gaza01 51 Report post Posted June 29, 2018 Spoke to Schmiedmann and this is the reply I got Yes this one is for LHD and will give issues with the steering box.It will be to much to develope a RHD manifold of this kind, because we need to order large amount for it to be developed. I can try a couple of my other suppliers, they may be able to develope the manifold for RHD?But the price will be different.I am sorry this is the best I can do. duncan-uk 2,330 Report post Posted June 29, 2018 I wasn't thinking they would adapt it more it was cheap enough to try and see what the issues were.

Few posts up seemed to suggest they were willing to work with someone hence my inquirey i asked them if they would be interested in developing it with me. I would have bought one and offered it up to show the pinch points. Edited June 29, 2018 by gaza01
duncan-uk 2,330 Report post Posted June 29, 2018 Yes I appreciate that. When I saw it I was thinking suck it and see and use someone like power flow to adapt?
gaza01 51 Report post Posted June 30, 2018 By the time u do that u might as well by the fritz one in terms of cost
duncan-uk 2,330 Report post Posted June 30, 2018 You might but in my experience it does little if nothing in terms of power.

duncan-uk 2,330 Report post Posted July 1, 2018 They sound great but do jaff all for power. I was lucky to buy mine used. Had it on the car for near 10 years and sold it for more than I paid
duncan-uk 2,330 Report post Posted July 1, 2018 That said I wouldn't go that route knowing what I do now.
