Non stroker E39 on eBay & autotrader

Recommended Posts

I’m currently looking to purchase an M5 and I’ve seen this advert on a few occasions and the non stroker part doesn’t make sense to me.

Aren’t they all non strokers from factory?

please somebody with more knowledge correct me if I’m wrong.

I agree with you.

This reads like a non specialist just writing stuff down without really understanding what he has got, for example most of the stuff he lists is standard on the car. I would go and take a look if you are interested and buy on condition and history.

Not overly interested as I want a facelift.

However in the interest of learning as much as I can about M5’s before I purchase one, I wanted to know why he had written it

It actually looks like an honest car, someone has ploughed some love and care in to it... facelift bits added including nav screen. He does mention TV - I wonder if that has been updated to digital or it's just the old analogue receiver that's been left there.

The Mot history doesn't have too much to worry about either, along with most services appearing to be having been done a little early based on the space between the mileage..
