Following on from the recent highly specced F11 I saw this very highly specced F10 on AT today!

On a side note is there a reason for no front fog lights switch?

much nicer colour combo.

Unfortunate the owner didn't care about oil changes.

No foglight switch is a little mystery. Before I saw the pictures I assumed it was an SE LCI that don't come as standard with foglights. But not the case here.

Nice spec,   is the service intervals dictated by the vehicle these days?

I would hazard a guess this was a company vehicle that would of come with the service pack?

These cars have a condition based servicing regime. But the main things like oil is every 2 years or 24000 miles with a major service every second service (or there abouts).

According to BMW this one does not have a service pack.

Very true. The first thing I did to my F10 was change the oil though.  Running a diesel for 24k without an oil change didnt seem worth it for £50.

Maybe the front foglights are cornering lights hence the lack of a switch??

The Spec sure is impressive but then it is 9k more than I paid for mine. 63k on a 15 plate to mine has 19k on a 15 plate.  The only toys I wanted regard as essential were reverse camera & powerfold mirrors and it took ages to find one with both.

You would think on a 5 series that powerfold mirrors would come as standard!

The adaptive LED headlight does away with the front fog lights does it not?   as it takes care of all your lighting requirements.

I was looking for a retrofit, but those headlights sure do cost a bob or two.

You would indeed. BMW are tight with specs particularly galling after trading a fully loaded but standard Lexus.

No puddle lights in rear doors on my "Luxury" spec is a bizarre omission as is no 12v socket in centre armrest. No auto handbrake, no blind spot warning, no reverse cameras, no cooled seats, no electric memory seats, no powerfold mirrors...............all standard on my previous Lexus GS.

At least LCI has Xenons as standard!!  My car does have powerfold & reverse camera but I looked for ages before I found one with them.

The options specced on the one above must have been thousands extra!!

You forget that the Lexus would also put you to sleep - not standard on the BMW.

The Lexus was extremely quiet being a petrol hybrid so easy to nod off!! very comfortable seats to.  The BMW drives better just hope it is as reliable. I never had to go and lift the bonnet to remove a panel to let water out of the bulkhead on the Lexus!!

It also had a fully trimmed boot with no bare metal. The doors also thunked shut in a reassuringly quality way.  It seems on the BMW they only paint what shows from the outside. The underside of the bonnet looks like primer?

Thank you for that

Don't suppose you can see which dealer sold the car originally and what the reg date is can you?

No it doesn’t, my car has LED headlights plus a separate front fog light switch.

Re the above, having done some digging around via the LCI brochure it turns out that having Night Vision option deletes the front foglights as it supposedly uses the lighting areas for sensors (or words to that effect)

That I will agree with as my brother has a 2005 GS300 and it has full electric heated/cooling seats, reverse camera and touch screen Nav in it :D

Thank you :)

I see the car has "Eastern BMW" plates, are they the same company as Peter Vardy or different?

The car got produced quick if the production date from the previous post shows a date of 10/08/15

Very nice spec, who are these jammy gits that can spec up a car with all those nice toys?

So how are you meant to flash your fog lights at oncoming Nissan Jokes and E Class Mercs who drive with their front fogs on?

Company cars imo, who else would build it up just to watch the arse fall out of it 3 years later...

£26k.... seems a lot

this... thats a touch high, 22k would be a fairer price imo. nice spec though someone went trigger happy on the options list! might be worth shelling out for if you like all the gadgets and keeping the car a long while.. I might personally. I wouldn't be too overly concerned about the long oil change  but i'd do the next couple a little more frequently
