Fitted F10 Spoiler Lip

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, for anyone that's been thinking about adding a M5 spoiler lip then.. I'll share my experience .. I ordered a pre painted one from eBay, it cost £70 and although the listing said 6 weeks delivery time it took 4 days all in to my door, I had £17 of custom charges to pay, it was well packaged and painted great.. if came with the 3M tape and took me about 3 mins to fit.

Now be warned there is another style for sale on eBay pre painted for £37 .. is a generic spoiler even thou they claim it's for the F10 .. you have to try and bend it to fit .. basically it's the same spoiler they sell for everything from an F10 to a Astra !!

Got a link? Quite fancy one myself, my dads F10 has one and it lifts the look of the back end somewhat.

Are you adding MORE bling?  Did the grille porn set you off?

And...has your car got 6 cylinders?

:P

You reckon a spoiler is bling?

It's quite discrete, no?

Its an option from new, which usually means it's ok in the taste department.

It's the stuff that's clearly not a manufacturer option that is chavtastic bling, a bit like the "grille porn" you mention. ;)

Besides spoiler on the rear pushes the rear of the car down and adds to traction and handling.....:D

It's a slippery slope, man.

If I were a betting man, I'd say you'd have a splitter, furry dice, neon spinners and an external bass tube by Christmas.

Or even a grille sporran!  Think of it: a Saltire or clan tartan posing pouch wherein to hide your Ebay loyalty card.

...and has the grille accessorising gone well?

:P:P:P
