E60 LCI 535d M5 brakes clearance.

172's will be fine being 19 but i have 18's for winter and i think its going to be tight, the discs are 14inch with the caliper maybe 3inch wide 

 

fitting mine on saturday after carparts4less mucked up the order.

Will you let us know how you get on with the 18s dude? Someone is buying my M5 discs (possibly) and we're wondering if they'll clear the 18s or not.

Standard 18" winter wheels were the:

 

184 8Jx18 ET14

 

Standard 19" wheels were the:

 

166 81/2JX19 ET:12 9JX19 ET:17
167 81/2JX19 ET:12 9JX19 ET:17

Oddly though, I've noticed E60 have different rear wheel sizes 91/2JX19 ET:28, so a full inch wider at the rear!
