E39 M5 CAT C

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

Surely as nice as this m5 is a cat c is still not worth that kind of money.

What do you guys think?

Cat c stolen recovered?

They must have taken quite a few bits or messed it up a fair deal for it to be a c category.

I've seen plenty of other makes and models cat d stolen recovered in the past but can't remember a c

Even a complete new lockset ecu etc surely wouldn't warrant that

Piss take price

That's E60 M5 territory or mint E39 M5 territory...

No idea where these muppets get their price ideas from

In the past I've wondered if it's possible to find exact details and reasons of a car being written off but other than a date and category I've never found any details. Is there any database with that kind of info that anyone has come across.....

And yes Dan. ..I think that price is a piss take too...lovely rare colour but that doesn't justify it at all

Cat c is "normally" structure damage I'd avoid like the plague!

Even if it lost the 1 I'd be very doubtful of it!

Especially with them seats! They show up EVERY wet fart!

To warrant anywhere near the price advertised, i'd want pics and details of the car in its damaged or stripped state before I even started negotiating.

As rare a colour as it may be, it is definitely not a shade for the shrinking violet among us... pardon the pun!

I sold a 2002 lemans blue cat D with 55k (genuine)on it early last year for £10k. Even though it’s an individual, a cat c and 98k on the clock. It can’t be that.
