2007 BMW 535D M Sport LCi - Immaculate Condition!

Recommended Posts

Here we have for sale my immaculate 2007 BMW 535d M Sport LCi Twin Turbo. I am selling due to being my 2nd car which was initially only bought as I started doing long motorway journeys to work. Since then I have changed jobs and no longer require it for that, so it has just been used every other weekend or so. I searched long and hard for a car with this spec and drove quite a few hundred miles around the country to turn down many “great” examples. I wanted one with decent mileage but most importantly great service history, LCI update, Paddle Shift Gearbox, huge options list, a nice colour and a light interior. I was lucky enough to find this one rather close by and have become good friends with its previous keeper. It has been an absolutely joy to drive, turbos pull and sound well, it is comfortable and luxurious inside, I haven’t spared a single penny on maintenance as you will see below and it needs nothing doing to it.

First some key details:
MOT March 2018 with 1 advisory which has been fixed (Check MOT History Online)

2 Remote Key Fobs Plus 2 Plastic Master Keys
Full BMW Service Pack
V5 Present & In My Name
3 Former Keepers

BMW Software ECU Update (Done @ Sytner BMW)

Carly Coding to enable features such as Digital Speedo, extra controls on iDrive system for heated seats, brighter angel eyes and more
The car has also recently had a Gtechniq Windscreen Treatment and 2 Coats of R222 Wax. The previous keeper is actually a detailer, and I am just as OCD about keeping it clean! It is garaged pretty much all week as I have a daily beater for grinding the city miles.

The above has cost me north of £4500 in parts and labour and there are probably a few things that I have missed but that is the majority of the maintenance work. As you can see, this car has been cared for EXTREMELY well! Pictures do not do it justice, really needs to be seen to be appreciated.

Bad Points:
The only thing that I would mark as a “bad point” on here, would be the stone chips on the front bumper and a few on the front side of the bonnet. Unfortunately, no matter how careful I am, those are unavoidable, especially on motorway journeys. The car even had a resprayed front bumper last year by the previous owner and it didn’t take long for them to appear again. Car has also well known on this forum and people will vouch for its condition.

No part exchange please, I am not desperate to sell. Don't let the mileage put you off, this is truly an amazing example, that really has to be seen to be appreciated. I turned down a lot of 40-50k mile cars for this. Please only contact me if you are genuinely interested and have the money to buy this car. If you would like a test drive please bring proof that you are fully insured on this vehicle, otherwise I will drive. It’s lovely and deserves the respect and a good home.

Any questions, don’t hesitate to give me a call on 07491 874682 or drop me a PM. I am a true car enthusiast and don't mind having a long chat about the car.

Stunning car 8)

I'm generally not an E60 fan bar the M5 (because it's a V10) and the tourings, but yours would make me think twice

GLWTS!

What a great looking example, this colour and wheel combo really look the best on the E60/61.

Good luck.

Thank you bud, hopefully it goes it somebody who will appreciate it as much as I do. 535d's are rare here as it is, let alone one in this condition.

Lovely looking car there mate - I do like the Space grey.

I'm not normally a fan of the Oyster leather but it works really well with the car.

Hopefully a buyer will be found!

I believe it's Silver Grey bud, as Space grey is slightly darker, but thank you! I appreciate it :)

Not sure how to reply to some of these messages on here, I am pretty sure I am younger than most of you on here and yet your maturity level is disappointing at best.

I am happy to take all kinds of feedback, both good and bad as long as it has a point. So let me answer a few things for you:

1. "It's nice but not 13k nice" - Find me a nicer one for 13k or less? And no, I mean one with every single option this car has, with every single item it has had changed in the last 3 months (2k miles) and with such service history background, then I ll lower it.

2. "car is F10 money bla bla bla". No. Just no. This car is some bottom of the barrel F10 money, with crappy spec and definitely not a 535d M sport either. So please, keep that to yourself.

3. "up there on mileage". So? I turned down 3 E60s before buying this, which were cheaper than this car funnily enough and had about 40k less miles. They drove like dogs, had turbo whine and many owners trying to hide obvious oil leaks and pretending like there are no bangs from their suspension.

4. If you don't have any intention on purchasing this, why are you commenting?

Most importantly, a car is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. Someone out there will be looking for a top spec E60 535d M Sport in top condition, and that will come at a cost. I've had a lot of interest, and many questions, so it will just take a little bit of time to find it's new owner.

This is exactly why I don't normally post car sale threads on forums...

Just a matter of waiting for the right buyer. Thing is you could buy an E60 and then if you are unlucky spend £5k in the first year of ownership fixing various issues. With the maintenance history of this car the chances of that are vastly reduced, and along with the mint condition of this car someone may well be happy to pay that premium. As always no guarantees with buying used cars though. It will probably need to be more widely advertised. Good luck !

Yeah I agree...a lot of people overlook maintenance and potential issues and just look at the asking price.

A rough but cheap example of one of these could easily turn into a wallet Hoover.

E.g. a set of tyres, discs and pads can add a quick £1500

Op have you tried advertising it elsewhere?

It's on eBay, someone posted another at a similar price, laughed when I read the specs and condition compared to this.

Yes mate, it's on Atotrader, Ebay, Gumtree and Pistonheads. And here I guess.

That's exactly my point...It;s like buying an AMG under 10k and then realising that you cannot afford to change the brakes or the rear airbag suspension...
