RIP Keith (Urquattro)

Recommended Posts

Just had this tragic news lads, posted on our lottery syndicate PM's:

Sorry to tell you lads that Keith (urquattro/my dad) passed away 2 weeks ago. I know he enjoyed forum chat with many of you and he loved his E34's and Alpina. Of the bimmers, the '93 3.8 blue six-speed M5 and 540 Touring remain after he had a bit of a clear out.

I'm now looking after his cars and they will be kept as he kept them himself. He loved to tinker as do I and we will all miss him very much.

son-of-urquattro (Paul)

PS I still have my 86 ur quattro. I got mine many years after I saw him, as a boy, arrive home for the first time in his own 83 example. I've had mine for 27 years now and it reminds me of him as do the other cars of course.

Cheers to you all from dad. Enjoy life and be happy!

So sorry to hear that. When I messaged him about the alpina and 540, he talked about them very fondly.

My condolences to the Family.

RIP Keith.

Lovely bloke to talk to and down to earth.

I've not been on here often lately but have kept contact via PM about his hospital visits etc. Always positive even though it was a shower of shite in reality.

So so sorry to hear this sad news.

All thoughts with the family.

You will be missed Keith.

Ray

RIP Keith.

I still remember his story about him coasting his big old Merc down the road into house and something about not being able to stop and hitting a shed.

He was a good guy and will be missed very much.

R.I.P. Keith. You were a thoroughly decent and honest Gentleman and I shall miss you.

My thoughts are with your family, though they will miss you, they will have amazing memories of all of your life.

Rest in Peace.

My condolences to Keith's family.

I always enjoyed catching up with him and hearing about his exploits. It sounded like he had a very full life. Also enjoyed hearing about his cars, from Jags to VW campers, there was loads going on. I was fortunate enough to go down to his home and he showed me his collection.

Very sad time but plenty of fond memories.
