Nice,  don't mind a 944, just hate the beetle shape of the ugly 911.

You are all wrong, I'm waiting for the singer/Williams project to come up. That's the only Porsche for me

Some great pics and thanks for sharing. ;)

I'm on my third 911 now and visually they are a love them or hate them car, however they are a car that you wont understand until you've spent some time in the drivers seat. As much as I've enjoyed my M3's, M5's etc. the Porsche really is in another league when looking at build quality and driver involvement.

I have a spare space in the garage for one, currently trying to convince the accountant that they are an appreciating asset therefore, should be seen as a fully tax deductible investment/pension opportunity.

Well if my 944 engine didn't keep self destructing I'd have probably been there!

Cooling system overhauled

Head rebuilt

Compression tests fine

All service items changed

500 miles fine

3 miles to paint shop - and it drops a ring!

I've SORNED and uninsured it so I cant even torch it now and claim on the insurance:o but I'm too honest for that.

Porsche ownership for me has been painful, but if anyone has a 930 Turbo they want to lend me to try and rebuild my confidence in Porkers - send me a pm!!

We've had a couple of 944's. An 8v a 16v both 2.5.

The later was brisk but not that fast but had a good chassis under it. Felt my head was a bit close to the screen.

Brother in law had a turbo which was pretty rapid but preferred his 993.

Given the chance I'd like an air cooled 911 either an 80s with the g50 box, 964 or 993.

This.  And some of them are very 'clinical'.  Handling and involvement is precise and sharp
