2002 530d Touring. Stalling Issues

Hi,

 

I have been having stalling issues with my diesel BMW. I have now got INPA up and running and would love some insight into the issues, they look interconnected to me and I'm not sure whether I'm looking at faulty injectors, relays, fuel rail sensor or pumps?...there were 7 faults logged (that I have translated to English), can anyone help in diagnosis? so here goes:

 

5696 Control unit DDE (EEPROM and configuration)

 

Error frequency: 1

Logistic counter: 40

 

Fault currently available Injector adjustment checksum

 

2550 Rail pressure monitoring in the start

 

Error frequency: 16

Logistic counter: 38

 

Fault presently not available Sporadic error No rail pressure build-up

 

13573 Glue lining (Glow Plugs, I think?)

 

Error frequency: 7

Logistic counter: 39

 

Fault present momentary sporadic fault glowing system - glow plugs or glowing lights

 

4704 Pre-pressurization monitoring

 

Error frequency: 4

Logistic counter: 33

 

Fault presently not available Sporadic error Prepressing pressure below minimum value for engine start

 

4496 Rail print plausibility

 

Error frequency: 2

Logistic counter: 35

 

Fault presently not available Sporadic error Rule deviation over engine speed too great

 

4688 Relay pre-delivery pump

 

Error frequency:1

Logistic counter: 36

 

Fault presently not available Interruption or short circuit to B

 

1280 Driving speed signal

 

Error frequency: 1

Logistic counter: 35

 

Fault presently not available Travel speed of CAN invalid

Glad you found it. Obviously been ignored for many tens of thousands of miles.  Lesson to all. Change it every couple of years regardless.
