Which 3 cars - lottery win

52 posts in this topic

Been out with a client this morning (runs his own niche software house that develops software and security software for the porn industry (predominantly) and other SOAD (software-on-a-disc) based businesses alongside running porn-bots (computers connected to a basic mobile velcro'd to the wall, so when horny/lonely blokes text the numbers in lads mags on a lonely evening, it's a computer they're chatting too)

To break it down; each text that is received will have cost the sender between £1.50 and £3.00 - the replies cost c£0.10-£0.12 depending on who they're using at that time... On average they receive 8k texts on a Friday, 12-20k texts on a Saturday night and around 30k plus on Sundays! Around 2-6k during the week... All in, it's a huge amount of profit!!!

Anyway; he's seriously considering spending a vast amount of £££ on a car; he drives a McLaren 375T currently and from what I know, that was pocket change for him. Plus he's bored of it now :roll::lol:

I said if it were me, I'd be looking at a Zonda or similar; so if it were you, what THREE cars would you buy if you had lottery winnings (serious winnings obviously) in your back pocket?

For me; it'd be along the lines of:

  • Pagani Zonda Tricolore/F as the hypercar
  • A top spec and charged E61 M5 touring as the family bus (that V10 howl every time for me)
  • A Spyker C8 for its stunning looks and roof-down fun on hot days

A Classic Ford ( Lotus Cortina Mk1 or Escort MK1 RS 2000 )

Lamborghini Countach ( the cannonball run type ..not that daft anniversary one with daft spoilers etc )

A Morgan Aero

:)

Supercars are not what they were years ago ..they were a sight to behold .. now they are eveywhere with youtubers and mildly rich people who havent a scooby how to drive them have them as they are trophies to show off and take pics posting them endlessly on social media along with pics of their dinner  .. there are soooo many of them now they are old hat IMO

This is impossible, because I would buy a lot more than three, however :

Ferrari 288 GTO

Rolls Royce Ghost or Bentley Mulsanne

Alpina V8 Roadster (the one based on the Z8)

It would be difficult to do without a Porsche 911 Turbo (930), an Aston Martin DB9, a BMW 1M in Valencia Orange, an Alpina B10 V8s in Brass  and half a dozen more.  Glad I don't have to decide - the F10 will do for the time being!

Alfa 8c

Ferrari 288 GTO

RS6 for day to day

Changing my mind as I'll be uber rich I can have an e39 m5 touring with suoerchargers rather than the rs6

But then the singer Porsche sounds a good call.

So many choices!

I've never heard of the Singer Porsche before today oddly - but I Googled it, and I'm definitely in!

'69 Dodge Charger with a huge Hemi in it before the ecomentalists say I can't.

Same here Andrew but would probably change the 540ix for an Overfinch Range Rover

 If it's only three cars I could have (I've already got my 'lottery list' and it's very long!) it would have to be;

The very best e39 M5 I could get my hands on

A completely original RS500 Cosworth

And a Supercharged Range Rover for daily duties.

Oh yeh. For my singer I'd like a 70s 911 from say Arizona. All sun bleached and faded with a bit of desert rust but a mint interior and the pukka running gear.

Probably...

1. E39 M5 - the best I can find.

2. Last of the normally aspirated C63s

3. Something new, but sensible.
