Thank god!

Still; looks like it needs to be treated with fire and lots of it!

Thanks, calming down now but still, why do folk do that to cars?

It was the Senator type heater dials which I know were fitted to Lotus Versions but not GSI Carltons, that threw me to start with. Carltons had a slider type heater control Sennies had turny dials.

And to contrast, this is what a real Lotus Carlton engine looks like.....

Agreed.

The pic is of my LC which is why it looks used rather than a show queen.

I can't really see that much wrong with it, it's just a blue GSI with a Lotus-ish body kit on it, it's not like he's trying to pass it off as a lotus. It's just like putting rep Sport bumpers on a SE.

^ not just me then. It's a gsi with lotus kit. Maybe the details let it down but it's not Barry boy worthy to my mind

It's a horrible colour, with horrible matching colour seats, naff alloys, he has painted the engine blue and it has an ironing board as a spoiler! Of course it's Barry!

But on its plus side it's one of only 104 manual 24v GSis left in the country.

But the original isn't much better:

Sure a replica might not be to all tastes and as i say some of the details are poor but its hardly the worst i've seen

I don't mind it, sure I've seen it featured in Fast Car or Max Power in the past?
