Just back from Wheel Wizards in Hamilton. They did a cracking job, really nice guys to deal with.

They fitted my spacers too. Before and after pics of the wheels below, plus the new offset with the spacers.

How much and did you leave the car with them all day?

£240. Dropped the car off at 8.45am, wondered around Glasgow aimlessly for many hours then collected the car at 5pm.

That looks very good indeed!

Did you buy a new center caps and M badges? What spacers did you go for and did you buy front and back?

Bought these centre caps:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172650065035

15mm spacers for the rear only but asked the seller to provide 10 standard size wheel bolts for the fronts so that I'd have a matching set. £52 total.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371623254749

Got new mstickers as well although they're slightly smaller than the indented area on the wheel so will probably find some others.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191983795464

Total cost was just over £300.

They look awesome man, he did message me to say you popped in with the car, what colour did you go for?? i went for Hyper Silver my self and love them.

Thanks again for your recommendation, really happy with how they came out.

Not sure what the colour is, just said 'stock' and left it at that.

So my o/s rear run flat has a bulge in the inner sidewall again (2 different tyres, same position). I've sourced a part worn tyre as I don't want the cost of replacing 2 rear runflats nor 4 non runflats just yet as they've all still got 6mm left.

Heard on this forum that due to the recent alloy refurbishment with powder coating I need to find someone with a leverless tyre fitting machine.

Went to a specialist tyre place round the corner from me, they said they didn't have one but it was never usually a problem.

Confused now, do I need to find a place that has one or not?

I'm thinking kwikfit probably would, and my local branch are actually really good. Just not sure if they'd be prepared to fit a part worn tyre though.

most tyre places have nylon wheels/ plates on their machines to put levers against and stop the marking ( older machines are just cold steel )

kwik fit my have done tyres and bever marked an alloy yet but you might need to get them on a Sat morn as a quick job bunging the guy a tenner etc ...they wont fit them as normal practice incase its faulty and tyoutry to blame them

Fitted the part worn tyre today, the garage did mark the newly refurbed alloys but only a small amount and you have to look hard to see it.

Tyre failed after 25 miles though!! - Guess there's a lesson to be learned here.

Just bought 4 new kumho ku39's.  RIP runflats.

Yeah, read lots of good things about them on here. TBH, just really looking forward to moving away from run flats.
