Only 12 UK B10 V8 Tourings and 1 of the 4 (I think ?) facelift cars.

I just checked on the Alpina Archive and I hadn't realised how few facelift Tourings there were, just 44 in total. That's in comparison to the 43 V8S Tourings and the 204 pre-facelift V8 Tourings.

Are we sure that's a facelift car - it has prefacelift chrome bumper and rubbing strake inserts.

Lovely car and colour mind you!!

Alpinas are a law onto themselves with facelifts/engines/gearboxes etc! The car has been stored up for a few years so is going to the specialist next week for a once over and sort anything it may need, once this is organised the price and car will be advertised fully with many pics.

So are you a party to the rescue and service etc of this car? your postings suggest detailed knowledge etc.

Yes, the car does not belong to me. I am just lending a hand to a friend to help get the car ready for sale... I jumped at the chance to get a closer look at a b10, I've driven m5s and various other e39s but never an alpina

Great find. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the lowest mileage RHD B10 V8 Touring. Should fetch a very good price. Look forward to more pictures.

This is the fourth B10 V8 Touring for sale at the moment. On carandclassic there is a 73k miles car for £18k, a 99k miles car for £14k and a 153k miles car has just changed hands privately on the alpinaregister.

But this one is the only Facelift V8 on sale

That's stunning!

Any ideas what daft (but sensible) price this'll fetch?! 8)

It will depend on how many people actually want it. If only one person wants it and he and the seller can't agree a price then it'll remain unsold. If more than one person wants it, and wants it enough, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets advertised for around £20k and sold for well over £15k, nearer to £20k.

As Dave pointed out, it's the only facelift car of the four I mentioned and (unless you get lucky with lots of prices) it costs a few thousand to make up all the changes to a pre-facelift car.

Of course, it all also depends on the actual condition of the car as well as photos always flatter to deceive.

Rare f/l beast, maybe a true Alpina enthusiast will bid as a collector item, as a low mileage, recomissioned  nice car for use I think it will struggle beyond £14/15k.

Its not a V8S and associated premium, it is rhd re out of uk sale, so only a committed few may jump.

would I bother? no because I prefer the B10 as a stylish saloon that although more  it has the classic shape.

its very nice and interested to see where it leads, Old Colonel Cars I suspect and then £22k one off ever !!

Lovely looking wagon. ;)

If this late V8S Touring in a fantastic colour combo and at 88k miles made £15,950, then i'd guess at something similar for the fact it is not an S but does have 20k fewer miles. All IMO of course.
