Smug!!!

Had to replace crank sensors yesterday and put it off all day.

Got all the tools out, drill, drifts, Torch etc and settled down for a long afternoon.

Much to my amazement I undid them and they both came straight out. It literally took longer to jack the car up lol.

Always good when things just work!

I replaced my sill kick plates yesterday with M5 ones. Took almost a whole 7 seconds per plate. Result!

527 manual, sloppy gear selector.

Having converted my eta to manual, not too impressed with the very sloppy gears. Added new cup, a bush and pin clip thingy and still dreadful. Found that the shift rod joint had a lot of play. Once removed clearly worn and ovalled. Replacement from dealer was surprisingly not much better. So, visited a local machine shop, two small bronze bushes for £4 later and a little fettling and play has gone, much nicer, reverse is no longer in the passenger's lap !

800 miles to get my new Dust Wrap fitted. Think it looks pretty authentic myself.

Other than that, 4 tanks of super unleaded, one broken A/C compressor and nice to drive it again.
