My father in law took a dump at Barons Cambridge a few weeks ago, and the place got evacuated shortly after as the fire alarm went off.

We are ALL still paying for that!

To be fair, he should have got out of the X5 first.

Discovered that the side pocket/tray/compartment in the right hand side of the boot is the perfect size to safely transport home my full 5l jerry can.

No worries about spilling the contents, even though it's supposedly a spill proof can.

Mine was earning its board and lodgings today. Out with the trailer to the tip and a couple of runs again with the trailer to B&Q to buy the patio furniture that my wife was wanting.....

Happy wife, happy life.;)

Well yesterday I was in Scotland, last day of or holiday. Thought I would give the car a clean before we drove home... Then it rained lol.

Today I removed the roof box and roof bars, cleaned all the dead flies off and wrapped it all up ready for going back in the loft.

Picture of said cleaned car, just after the Scottish weather did its thing...

Where were you in Scotland @Saunders76 it's been scorchio where I am?

All I got to do to mine today was a quick blast over with the Karcher. Wheels came up lovely thanks to the many layers of wheel wax and sealant.

We were in Sanquhar... So only just in Scotland lol.

To be fair the weather was great upto Wednesday, but Thursday was nice again, as was Friday morning...

I put a ceramic coating on! It took me forever and everything hurts! Pics and write up in detailing section tomorrow probably. I finished at 9.30pm in the dark ... Edit: Post here

Still, just easy peasy sealant (Reload) every few months from now on.

I didn't do the bumper as I caught it on a hard bit of bush in what looked like a soft bit of bush! My tender administrations with space grey touch up and wet'n'dry only made it worse so it needs Chips Away or similar. Didn't think they would want to machine off a coating ...

S430A folding/dimming mirrors retrofit complete :) Not 100% happy using butt connectors inside the door, will re-visit with solderable heatshrink sleeves.

  • Remove door and remove old switch unit.
  • splice connectors 7,8,9 to 1,2,3 (drivers side)
  • remove and refit new mirrors
  • put everything back together
  • add 430 (replace with 431 in my case) to VO, code FRM and JBBF and job done.

That's not a dog, that a small horse.

I like Danes, great temperament.

Lol.... I've got 2.... He's 2 years old and 10.5 stone, she's nearly 5 and about 8 stone

Hence why I have an f11...

They are adorable, gentle giants.

Turn heads wherever we go.... You do have to get used to people pointing open mouthed alot (usually as they drive past)

And the DAILY comments "could put a saddle on that" etc etc

Great looking dogs, I guess they are related?

Nope, just coincidence that we got Dexter and he has similar markings...

We've only had him since January

Could be worse, at least it's on the glass, I still think birds drop their guts when they think there is water below, my last 2 cars had full pan roofs and they were terrible for attracting shite.
