My supercharger project

Recommended Posts

This is coming on quick now Kenny.

Do we need another Rother Valley meet later this year?  ;-)

That would be very nice Ray, i'm hoping i don't take much longer to get this done.

The rewiring was a ballache.

Hi Chaps

I've been busy over the weekend getting the new lpg injectors in, i went for Hana AA+ blue it was quite an effort to get them fitted in the valley so that they lay underneath the blower but i'm pretty happy with the result.

I also fitted an electric coolant fan from a volvo to the 540's cowl, i've had the viscous fan off for a while now with no issues but safer with the new fan.

Tonight i'll be fitting the intercooler circulation pump behind the bumper somewhere and getting my fueling pipes fitted.

great work and bold engineering, really hope you pull all the end pieces together, another keith with less ambitions than you I am afraid.

Thanks for those words Keith i'm getting there slowly and I don't believe you're short on ambitions after some of the stuff you have done.

Hi

I'm progressing, but slowly atm.

I'll soon be taking the blower to the powder coaters and when it comes back i should be on the final run.

I've been asked this question twice now, about whether a cable operated throttle body will

As you can see they are a totally different shape and size and space is at a premium where it needs to go, and then you have the job of sending operating cables to it.

I'm not saying it can't be done but there are issues to be overcome.

I know updates to this project are slow but i am working hard behind the scene and am quite close to having a lot done but home and work get in the way sometimes.

I have been trying to remember to take pics (which i'll post later) and i've made a few adjustments to the parts i received from USA in terms of form and function.

My recent work has been fitting an afr boost failsafe gauge i still have a couple of connections left to make but i could do with having  access to some more switched lives to run my fan control and intercooler pump if anyone can help out ??

I've spent some time on my back with multi purpose cleaner in a pressure sprayer followed by hot water in the same sprayer and it's looking clean, i have also used brake cleaner as an aggressive degreaser at times.

I am now working on the induction piping from the filter to the throttle body.

These are the end caps on the jag fuel rail, i didn't like the caps as supplied so i fitted schrader valves to them and wielded ears on them so they clamp on properly.

I'm not sure how much longer i'm gonna be working on this but next weekend i have both days to play so things should move along hopefully.
