Looks good Damian.

I've only ever used beeswax on bowls on a lathe. I bet it was a job and a half!

Misses Ray just said; that'll look good with black letters. I might wax one of the kids boxes.

Glad the letters went on alright :ph34r:

Letters were fiddly! a bit of rack of the eye was needed in the end!

Yeah was a job and a half, me and the Mrs were thinking that the letters would look good waxed in the light pine to keep the wooden effect whilst adding a bit if contrast... maybe next time!

I stuck the paper letter templates down and waxed over them as I wasn't sure how well the glue would stick on the wax. I don't think they'll be coming off anytime soon, happy with the blue but thought clear pine ones would look good also

Toy chests are available unpainted only. My 'designated' painter has had enough of painting boxes after a 40 hour week and she has drawn the line for 2016.

Letters can still be painted but it'll be on a blank box like pictures below;

Christmas coming up soon and I've been building toy chests well in advance this year to make sure late orders are still being able to be processed.

I'll upload some more pictures soon when I've sorted a new Image host and transferred all pictures from Photobucket.

Can you make them larger/longer?

Can you do the lettering as an engraved/routered style?

Would you be able to do a sealed version that I could use a subwoofer box?

Might be interested in a pair if you can.

Anything is possible Chu. Just give me measurements or drawings of what you'd like.

Think you would have to use ply or mdf instead of pine for woofer boxes?
