  1. Here we have for sale my immaculate 2007 BMW 535d M Sport LCi Twin Turbo. I am selling due to being my 2nd car which was initially only bought as I started doing long motorway journeys to work. Since then I have changed jobs and no longer require it for that, so it has just been used every other weekend or so. I searched long and hard for a car with this spec and drove quite a few hundred miles around the country to turn down many “great” examples. I wanted one with decent mileage but most importantly great service history, LCI update, Paddle Shift Gearbox, huge options list, a nice colour and a light interior. I was lucky enough to find this one rather close by and have become good friends with its previous keeper. It has been an absolutely joy to drive, turbos pull and sound well, it is comfortable and luxurious inside, I haven’t spared a single penny on maintenance as you will see below and it needs nothing doing to it. The previous keeper is actually a detailer, and I am just as OCD about keeping it clean! It is garaged pretty much all week as I have a daily beater for grinding the city miles. The above has cost me north of £4500 in parts and labour and there are probably a few things that I have missed but that is the majority of the maintenance work. As you can see, this car has been cared for EXTREMELY well! Pictures do not do it justice, really needs to be seen to be appreciated. Bad Points: The only thing that I would mark as a “bad point” on here, would be the stone chips on the front bumper and a few on the front side of the bonnet. Unfortunately, no matter how careful I am, those are unavoidable, especially on motorway journeys. The car even had a resprayed front bumper last year by the previous owner and it didn’t take long for them to appear again. Car has also well known on this forum and people will vouch for its condition. No part exchange please, I am not desperate to sell. Don't let the mileage put you off, this is truly an amazing example, that really has to be seen to be appreciated. I turned down a lot of 40-50k mile cars for this.   2. As titled,the sport mode in my 530i MSport has suddenly stopped working?Works in drive fine,it's the first thing that has gone wrong with the car since I've owned it so quite gutted Is it a known problem?Or anyone have any pointers etc?
  3. Hi all New to this forum. I joined as I'm having trouble finding Eibach springs that will fit my car and lower the height by more than 25 or 30mm. I'm looking a drop of about 40-45mm. I've seen people with these installed on their car but i can't seem to find anything online. If you could point me in the right direction or offer some advice on other good springs too that would be nice Thanks Chris
  4. Hello, i have been browsing for a couple of days now. Im located in Derbyshire, here is my newly aquired BMW E39 530D MSport Auto: Not the best of photo's but hey-ho! , Im looking at tidying the car up a little. First of all i will just be tidying the rust up, changing the termostat as this sticks open sometimes and servicing the car for now. I have previously owned an E36 Saloon 323i in blue and an E36 Coupe 323i in hellrot red. The car has done 160k miles with full service history, however none of these mention a gearbox service which worries me a little so i am also looking at getting this done, but overall i am really impressed with the car. If anyone has any tips or suggestions, i am all ears . Anyway i won't bore you all with anymore information about me! Cheers
  5. Hey guys I have a 2011 525d and I want to change my headlights to LCI model lights. Currents lights are with indicators and and are adaptive lights if that help. Will the LCI lights fit my car? And is it plug and play or will I need to buy something else with them?

Hi im wondering if anyone can help me with this problem I am having - I recently upgraded my headlights to H7 HID kit on my 520d Msport Lci Step Auto - everything was going fine but then I noticed when I switch the HID lights on I get a little jerk in my car. It does not happen all the time, just on the odd occasion. If I am driving in Manual mode, it either automatically drops my gear down or if i am slowing down/standstill in traffic and I switch the light on I get the jerk and it changes the gear to DS Or if i am driving in D the little orange light on the gearbox goes out for a split second and lights back up, also this results in my gear to drop down automatically (only notice it as my revs increase). Its a bit hard to explain so sorry if i have confused you all - its like whenever it happens its like theres an extra volt that goes through the car to initially power up the H7 bulbs and thats what is causing the issue - but i may be wrong. I know bulbs have nothing to do with the auto gearbox, but as that auto gearbox also gets some sort of power supply from the battery, thought this may all be interlinked. Any one experienced this before? Or any advice on what i can do? I really like the HID upgrade I have got and do not want to get rid just coz of this jerk issue I am having. Also dont know if the problem is interlinked, I have 10w CREE LED AE bulbs in which flicker when the car is initially started and I have also got white LED number plate bulbs with a built in resistor (these have never flickered though when the car is started or AE or H7 bulbs are switched on)
  9. Hi Beemer lovers!! I'm after the above model but I got slightly confused as the advertiser claims that it has a build in freeview TV in the dash (original)?? Is this true/possible? I have never known for a 5 series to have that? I think the built in multimedia display is able to play DVD's? Can you guys help? Thanks!!
