  2. Hello all, I recently purchased the vehicle detailed in my garage. It is my first BMW and I have to say I absolutely love it. However, two things are confusing me and I don't know of they are a fault or design. The radio shuts itself off whilst I'm driving. I've not timed it but I would guess after about half an hour, it simply turns off. Although I can turn it straight back on again, its quite annoying. Is there some kind of timer? On a similar note, a similar thing seems to happen with the heater. I say heater, but perhaps I should say fan as the temperature setting seems to make no difference. This seems to be a much shorter time, I would estimate about 5 mins but again I haven't timed it. The fan doesn't shut off, but rather it winds down to a stop. Has anyone any ideas? jono

I have checked fuses and all seem ok any suggestions please.... cheers Mark
