480a isn't serious though, you just have to go finish the regen..

What did you do to your E60/61 today?

I edited my post, it was TRW, dunno why I said ATE It still freaks me out getting into the car and pushing a brake pedal that still has a vacuum in it, car came with it leaking and losing vacuum after 5 seconds of shutting the engine off.

I was waiting to pull out of the nursery after picking my lad up and some complete wanker in a BMW failed to stop and let me out. My Mrs simply said, what did you expect from a BMW driver., here's me thinking we all stuck together Of course the other side of it is if you have a 2 car gap in a 30 zone you're out the junction and almost ramming the car in front thanks to all the RWD power to hand

Brake servo installed yesterday, finished bleeding the system today, sods law kicked in at the end of the diagnostics program where it said press the pedal 5 times for the final corner to finish, on the 5th push I hadn't noticed the bottle was empty and the pedal suddenly gave, another 3 litres of fluid to do the feking system again The TRW servo is a BMW one with the sticker cut off like a lot of the specialist parts, more than £400 less than buying the same part from BMW

If it remains down once up to revs (it will dip for 10-20 seconds as the additional flow mixes cooler water until it recovers) then a stat is still faulty, it may be the gearbox cooler if it is an auto. A car with good stats like mine will dip when you rev high but recovers within 20 seconds. Afraid this is wrong, the car is capable of doing it and the whole point in the throttle body partially closing is to restrict airflow to allow a hotter burn. I have tried various methods as I also believed I knew better and the best results are 70 mph in D (6th) around 2k as that always yields the lowest back pressure post regen.

1st mistakes holding the revs at 3k as you're letting so much air in it can't maintain the temp needed, when the car regens it partially closes the throttle body to restrict air flow. If you had been in 6th at 80mph it would have burnt off more crap

Unplug it and see what happens

    Price please

Hi, how much for front and rear pads for cr25800? Thanks

Car was jumped direct on the battery if I'm not mistaken so I expect that caused the damage. Have you removed the IBS plug yet?

Nearly 3 weeks after ordering the last parts arrived so I have been out and fitted the other tie rod now I have a new boot to put over it, cars had new tie rods and control arms due to it being on 100k (all lemforder) Off to get it tracked again tomorrow. After that is done I have the brake servo to fit as thats got a leak.

Not sure as I don't use Carly, someone posted a screenie in the F series section, I assume it's part of the live data?

Scotty, best regen method I have found it 70mph on the motorway, cruise on after forcing a regen before I pull onto the slip road. This always results in the lowest back pressure reading after and takes 10-15 min and around 2 stops up the M1, if it reads above 15mb idle after you can do it on the return trip and you should be sorted.
