    E39 Touring LavendelGrau Seats

I have for sale, a seemingly rare interior, so much so that i can't even find the details on RealOEM It's a touring front and rear seats, as the rears have the catches on the top corners and have carpeted rears. They are heated and Electric comforts (16 way electric adjustment). I do have a retrofit wiring loom for it too, made by @3drstretch They are aout 6.5-7 out of 10 quality in that they need a clean which i may attempt over the weekend, but there are NO RIPS or tears. They've been stored in my shed, and wrapped in plastic from when i got them and not been mounted in my ownership. I do not have any door-cards, or centre console items or memory/dash buttons. In my opinion, they would suit cars of a similar or dark coloured cars/interiors. The lighting is horrendous, but i'm disabled and at risk of a hernia at the moment, so brilliant photos may take a while. Since I'm doing the M5 Touring project, the M5 seats will be coming over, therefore these are surplus to needs. *I really have no idea what to price these at*, bearing in mind there's a few bits missing to make it completely plug and play, so in the interests of following the rules: Price: £750 o.n.o Location: Heathrow/West London - due to weight, shipping will be at purchasers discretion and no liability will be held once they leave my hands - collection preffered - this will also allow people to see them first hand, as opposed to photos. there's a chassis bolt to the right, behind the glovebox/front fure panel that you can use. Otherwise any unpainted body panel / chassis structure.

    Big Brake Upgrade

Just a cursory glance on the search engine and https://shop.bmw.co.uk/bmw-uk/en_GB/p/-/18-bmw-m-performance-brake-system/2450469/ At ~£2000 for 4 calipers and then add pads and discs that's not a bad price at all, before any potential trade/bmwccgb discounts. NF aka Deepan

    Big Brake Upgrade

The disc and pad upgrade will come regardless (with HEL/Goodrich braided lines) while i take the time to research and save the cash. it's not going to be an immediate purchase, as I've only just started to have a look around. K-Sport, Stop-Tech and AP are the main 3rd party ones, but if OEM items from another vehicle would fit, then that would be preferable. Then there's a whole other debate with Grooved/Vented/Drilled or a combination of the three for the discs themselves. I've always been of the opinion that drilled discs would have inferior stopping power because they have holes in them, where there's a bigger risk of the disc cracking under pressure, but then the pads don't always touch the holes and they apparently add to ventilation. so that's another allocation of time for research. Big Brake Upgrade

Thanks @d_a_n1979 are they a straight bolt on or do the calipers/carriers need adaptor plates making? If so, I know a few breakers and can ask them to keep an eye on the calipers + carriers at least and then use the disc/pad recommendations from above. There was a guy by the name of Matthew Edward on one of the Facebook group that fit a set of E31 calipers (6 pot?) but he had 19" ACS Type 3's - however he did mention that you could clear the calipers with 18" and 15/20mm spacers Cheers NF aka Deepan

    Big Brake Upgrade

I'm looking to track it at some point in the future. Probably going with Wilwood on my E30, and looking for 4/6 pots on the M5 as well. Just not sure if AP are the way to go, or if anyone has any experience with any other brands? Thanks NF aka Deepan

    Big Brake Upgrade

Friends, Romans, Countrymen(and women, and people) As you might have guessed I'm about to embark on an M5 Touring conversion in the next couple of weeks. One thing I was hoping to get some advice and experience on was brake upgrades? I'm sure the M5 OEM brakes are more than capable, but I was debating whether it's worth upgrading them? I saw a post on bookface about someone using E31 calipers with some sort of adapters and was hoping one of the experts on here may have done that already and may be able to share their thoughts on the matter? otherwise what brands have others used, liked or disliked and what to look out for? for now i'll be using a square set of Style 65 rears, but looking to upgrade the wheels to either 18" but wider than the 9.5 of the 65's or 19" to fill the arches better but wide enough (No stretched tyres whatsoever) to get a decent patch of rubber on the road. I saw the AP guys at Gaydon and their 6pot kit for the E39 M5 was £3000+vat. Muchos Gracias NF aka Deepan

    Anyone with virgin mobile?

Capacity issues where Dave? Tesco will be bringing wifi calling, just wont be before H2 2019 at the earliest. NF aka Deepan

    Really liking this, but....

The E30 circles are getting smaller and smaller as more and more are broken and f*cked. an 'uprated' cam, valve and stainless manifold should give more than 10bhp (B25's were 189 standard) and an auto isn't great. it's had a respray, and a poor one at that. for a convertible that's in half decent nick + history, you'd be looking at £6k+ I've had mine for 10 years and its only done 75k miles. Anyone with virgin mobile?

as is Tesco mobile. relatively inexpensive and again, uses O2's infrastructure so mostly reliable.

    Anyone with virgin mobile?

Three + EE share network equipment, and virgin are an MVNO run off the back of EE so if you're not having great service with one, it will be the same with all three.
