  2. I simply don't have time. It's not a 5 minute job as you know and I work away so the little time I get at home is spent with my kids rather than messing with the car lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I would but I binned the originals so nothing to put back in their place. I really wanna keep it but can't justify two cars and def can't justify getting rid of the newer 5 to keep this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Fine as far as I'm aware Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. 1998 BMW 735i 140k miles 12 months MOT Immaculate body work bar one small blemish on the rear (shown in pics) Brand New BC Racing coilovers (£750) Full Beige electric/heated leather Full service inc. -engine oil & filter -fuel filter -air filter -spark plugs Brand new Rad, thermostat, water pump, fan belt Brand new crankcase ventilation valve, breather hoses, rocker cover gaskets & coil insulator boots Brand new front and rear brake pads All tyres are nearly new Rear muffler delete This really is one of the best 735i's around. I've spent a fortune getting it up to scratch and sorting all the common issues. The only problems are the blemish on the rear between the rear bumper and the boot lid and some dead pixels in the instrument cluster as shown in the pics £1200 no offers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Ok buddy. Thanks for the advice. I don't mind a little travelling I just want someone I can trust with the car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hi all. I live in Lowestoft in Suffolk and and wondering if anyone can recommended a good specialist in my area? We have a local so called German car specialist in town but when I contacted them regarding an auto box oil and filter change they didn't sound too clued up so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a knowledgable trustworthy garage to take care of a few jobs for me? Thanks in advance Dave Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I can't remember now. Read it 2 weeks ago and all I can remember is it mentioning the gear lever position sensor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I've read the codes and it's saying there's a fault with the gearstick position sensor. I'm assuming this is the plastic arch in which the dowel on the side of the gearstick sits. Is this a simple part to change out (no coding etc)? Is it simply plug and play with the replacement? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Cheers Dan. Thanks for the kind words guys. It's definitely the best e39 I've had. Just love them. The only thing I'd consider parting with this one for would be the m5. One day........ Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Can you send me a link for the rear shims please Dan? Much the same as you, I've had no problems apart from one set on my old black 528 which I can only assume had been machined poorly as they weren't true and set the wheel shaking like crazy. Needless to say they came straight off and since you pointed me in the direction of bimecc spacers I've had no problems so stuck with them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks guys
  13. Lol. Cheers guys So today I fitted the front 15mm spacers Much happier now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
