  1. Alternatively, tell the buyer you'd be happy to palettise and wrap for transport but THEY will need to sort out the courier. That way,if any damage occurs on the way to delivery address, its THEIR courier who's responsible and they will need to sort it out.Saves you the worry.
  2. So the recall was from BMW Group UK rather than a specific dealer?.
  3. Damn shame!,but,as they say - He had a good innings.
  4. Preferably a removeable swan neck one.Thanks.
  5. The chap who'd had it for the last 7 years had been doing 400-500 miles a week in it for a while and when the shockers went, and it does feel like you're in a boat!,he decided to get something newer. Also the passenger side front wing around the wheel arch really does look horrible, BUT nothing i can't repair and make look presentable. The engine runs lovely but seems to be a bit slower than my E39 530d which is auto...it probably needs a bit of a tweak,MAF clean etc. Also just had all new tyres 2 months ago.According to the internet its probably a 184 bhp unfortunately, just means i'll have to put my foot down a bit further
  6. Was after a little runaround like a Golf Tdi or something like that but came across this 2002 E46 330d 5 speed manual.Ended up paying £450 with 6 months MOT and (only!) 155000 miles, just could'nt resist it!! :).Going to need shockers all round - only 1 at the back and one at the front gone but cheap enough to do them all,and a bit of front wheel arch de-rusting to do.Drives well and nice to have another 3 litre diesel.
  7. Obviously only ever on a track you mean Geoff.....
  8. Jeez, looks like someones had a BarBque on your pistons .Feel for you mate, hope you get it sorted.
  9. As above, not fussed what sort of alloy and don't really need a tyre as i have a decent 225/18 to go on.Norfolk area would be nice unless willing to post.Thanks.
  10. As has been just said, lightweight "proper" roof and also perhaps think about underfloor heating,i've got it in mine and its brilliant.
  11. Not standing up for Tony Bliar in any way but, anything out of George Galloways mouth i'd always treat with several huge pinches of salt.
  12. They've obviously made a mistake on the price list and changed the currency to Pesetas the further you look down......surely!:)
  13. Was recently considering the same.Had a word with my insurance Guy and apparently RR Sport are the most stolen vehicle in the UK.He said they are stolen, containerised and end up all over the world because they are so popular, insurance is Sky high due to this. The next most stolen according to him are the RR Vogue and then the BMW x3.
  14. "Due diligence" by the dealer seems to be the phrase of the day.If the engine number was that imortant to the dealer AFTER they'd taken it apart, surely that would have been the very first thing they should have checked to ascertain the fitted engine was the one that should have been there.I would labour that point to the dealer, and,if they're offering to fit a used engine that you supply, something perhaps that they'd never normally do,that sounds a little fishy to me!.Good luck with it,and as has been said, remind them that unless you'd given theM Carte blanche to do whatever they thought was needed, they should have informed you what they were doing BEFORE doing it.
  15. I have Kodi downloaded onto my laptop, the only thing about it is that if your watching an English language film and someone decides to speak Johnny Foreigner language, theres no subtitles.Yes i have tried the "subtitles" button.:)
