  4. EML came on grrr

so i have been doing around 1k miles a week for the past 8 weeks, the car has been faultless for the past 2.5 years, there was no loss of power. Luckily i happend to have a code reader in the boot and that produced code "P046c", looking that up came up the below post https://www.obd-codes.com/p046c pretty handy with a spanner, so my plan was to take off the EGR valveand either De-coke (the old fashioned way rather than with sprays) Block off with a solid gasket - (unsure if this will produce EML also) So next question, does the code seem right & anyone have a how to? quick googling suggests that the EGR is water cooled? TIA

  6. Got rid of the Runflats

not missing this at all, i take it F11's are not staggered judging by prices of tyres above?
  7. Got rid of the Runflats

yeah pretty much what the kwikfit guy told me, i was always under the impression that runflats took more psi?
  8. Got rid of the Runflats

on another note, what psi is recommended for non runflats on an f10?
  9. Got rid of the Runflats

for those deciding whether or not to change & waste 6-7mm tread i did this for my fronts, not regretting it at all. however for those looking to go 50/50, i went rears first and the car was not great found allot more steering input needed. I did rears first.
  10. Got rid of the Runflats

WOW, like a different car.... no longer does it feel like im driving over cobbles lol the most impressive thing is the difference in road noise. anyone else done the same ?

ok so..... they did indeed fit on the back (530d SE) and it also did indeed solve my shake. just ordered 2 new rears
  12. will E60 wheels fit on my F10

hmm could i get away with just the rears?, its litterally to run up motorway and back to see if vibration goes
  13. will E60 wheels fit on my F10

dam.... would have been a nice easy way to test if i still got vibrations thanks guys
  14. I have an issue at around 60-80mph with vibration had wheels balanced etc... and still the same, i wanted to try a friends e60 wheels on my f10 to try and narrow down which of my tires (im hoping its this) is now a square. both have 19" wheels
