  3. That tyre was long overdue replacing before it split through! Congrats on the new ticket Andy
  4. That looks lovely Beny
  5. I can see the merits in that, makes sense
  6. That reminds me, I bought new bonnet badge at Santa Pod the other week and still haven't fitted it!! lol
  7. Sweet I still need to get a full laser set-up done on mine. It's not pulling to one side or anything but you just know when driving that it's just not 100% on the alignment - I bet something is out
  8. Haha [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Having bought Dicks E39 off him on the day he bought this E61 I can vouch for A) the 61 was a lovely car indeed and B.) any car Dick has owned has been very well looked after GLWTS
  10. Wow his reputation lives up to the company name then!
  11. Yeah you're right there. I did coils and springs on a MK2 Golf GTI I owned a few years back. Thought the cheap option (although I am a bit of an originality geek!) but did the top mounts, every single bush and rubber, nut and bolt etc and it cost me a fortune! lol
  12. Looking good. Front looks a little high or is it the kink in your drive doing that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Looking good Dan [emoji1303] Are they the same wheels you had on your Slate Green 530i? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Not a new story Richard but worth a look if you've not seen it yet? http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/classic-cars/news/a32091/somebody-parked-a-bmw-m1-for/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Welcome, good purchase you wont regret it. Looked after, these engines will go on for ages. Pics up required
  17. I've used these a few times - just bought another. All ok with fit and quality and they have a 2 year warranty. Cheap as chips too http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-X5-3-5-7-SERIES-E39-E53-E86-E85-Z4-PARKING-SENSOR-PDC-SENSOR-66206989068/281820664377?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 They do the straight ones too
  18. That's a great collection
  19. We need pics! (Welcome by the way lol)
  20. That M5 interior money surely!
  21. I bought these recently - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131601584429?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&var=430972799392&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT For cheapies they're actually not bad at all. They came with the right fitting studs and the shape/fit was perfect. They're not quite as thick as OEM and I'm sure wont last as long but no complaints with them
  22. Smells like a dry dog now then!!
  23. Wet dog, such a lovely smell!! I use Autofresh too, it works really well and you don't need much of it either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. That's looking very fresh Dan
  25. Well if all goes to plan, I'm picking up a silver 530i Sport Auto tomorrow morning - my first petrol E39 (Excuse the dull pics, it was getting dark!) I'll be the 12 owner! However, it's only got 125k miles on it, very clean indeed, especially inside there's little signs of wear. It's got four new tyres, a lot of new suspension and cooling system components and drives beautifully. Spec isn't too bad, not as good as my old 530d sadly. Prof sat nav (MK4), heated seats, a Baris upgraded amp with AUX and removable tow bar. Looking forward to burning some petrol for a change!!
