E39 BBK - who's done one and what are your thoughts?

    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F302725735065 What about these?

E39 BBK - who's done one and what are your thoughts?

I've been considering using E38 4 pot Brembos with E46 M3 discs using these adapters. https://www.epytec.de/en/brake-system/adapters/2588/bmw-e39-e38-brembo-brake-caliper-adapter-e46-m3-brake-disc-325x28 That is an option and I'm sure it'll work out cheaper than a BBK.

PLEASE HELP - Central Locking Madness

Rear doors are controlled by the GM3, front are controlled by the door module. https://www.bmwgm5.com/GM3_Connections.htm

    Interior colour change

I've been using a dye kit from furniture clinic, I gave them the colour code and they had it in their system. It's not so bad, although I am using compressed air cans, it can be tedious swapping cans around. I'd recommend buying an airbrush compressor, at least then it's a somewhat continuous pressure and it won't freeze up like the cans

    Interior colour change

They were black, contours are grey and extended door cards were champagne. Hopefully I'll have it done completely in cinnamon by the end of the summer, I'm off to uni so I'll have to leave it where it is.

Seat and mirror memory coded, not working

I thought they just needed coding once you've installed memory seats.
  12. Hello I've coded the seat and mirror memory using NCS expert, checked the GM on INPA and it shows that the drivers seat memory is coded, mirror memory is also coded. The mirror memory is not saved and i cant get the mirror to tilt down in reverse. Any ideas? Thank you

    Interior colour change

I'm doing the leather inserts and door pull as in the following link. The reason I'm asking is I wanted to do it properly, take them both off, dye them and reattach. I might try doing it as is with the rest of the door card masked off and see how that turns out. I'm going for a cinnamon interior with extended door cards and E38 contours http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e39-m5-e52-z8-discussion/207214-m5-companion-10-2004-e39-touring-530i-m-package-individual-200-pictures.html#/topics/207214

    Interior colour change

Hello I'm planning on changing the colour of my interior including the door cards. I'm planning on removing the leather inserts along with the door pulls to change the colour. I came across this guide for an E46, where the guy grinds the welds smooth with the door card and pulls them apart, then reattaches with screws and washers. Does anyone have any experience with this? http://www.diymybmw.com/e46/dyeing-leather-door-inserts-for-two-tone-interior/
