  5. I suspect that the battery has died in my key fob, (3 year old key from the stealers ) so I've been unlocking my door manually for the time being , Yesterday when i was trying to lock the car up , the key just spins in the lock and now I am unable to lock the car 😣 Has anyone got any tips for fixing the door lock ? ( I will be sending the key to get repaired when I find the spare one ) Thanks in advance 😉😎🤔 Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  6. Have a look through that old post . It helped make my mind up . I went to Avon tuning as they are highly recommended and I'm glad I made the long journey too , I cannot fault them at all 😎. have a look through some of my threads , I'm sure I asked every question possible , and received some great advice too , Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

  8. As far as discs and pads go , after a lot of research I ended up getting oem discs and pads .. pagid I think , and I am really glad I did .. As you will know the discs and pads for the 535d are a lot different than the ones for the 530d , , I think they use the same ones for the 540i too . With the 535d being an auto too bmw will have done a lot of testing on the discs and pads for this specific car , . Mine has been mapped to 350bhp .. and I am glad I stayed with oem .. I started a thread when I was considering after market drilled discs etc .. and the advice I received pointed me in the right direction. Good luck on your choice . 10. No idea mate , start a new thread asking if anyone can recommend a good Dyno place in your area . Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  11. Avon are the experts as far as I know! I went to them (I wrote a thread about my trip) I wouldn't recommend you go to another place to remap again and try to get more power , if they could of got more out of it they would , , they managed to add an extra 70+ hp on my 535 , but mine was still kicking out factory BHP before they started any work on it . If it is really bothering you , now you have your turbo seals replaced , spending £50 on a dyno for piece of mind would be better than having someone without the reputation of Avon messing around with your Ecu. Good luck. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  12. What is the button type thing with the red circle and red line through it? .. I've no idea 🤔 Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  13. I'm interested to know aswell Vlady .. I suspect we should leave as it is due to it being as it came out of the factory with the various tests BMW did when designing the car .. either way I'll be watching this with interest 🤓😉 Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  14. It needs to be mapped out as far as I can remember. Mine was done with everything else at Avon Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  15. Cotswolds can get them cheaper than on the list above . Make sure you speak to Phil though .. message him via this forum .. if you call direct you will not get the deal I did .. which was just over £300 last year .. I had steering wobble too , and as someone pointed out to me on my thread , nobody tests the discs and pads for the 535d msport more than BMW themselves .. I initially wanted fancy looking drilled discs , but I am so glad I got OEM ones .. 😎 Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
