  1. MOT'd today.... clean sheet at 142k
  2. Also check the wiring to the tail gate. Mine had the same problem and turned out it was broken cables in the wiring loom. I followed this guide http://www.snowspire.cz/staticke/E61-kabely.pdf
  3. I've got the front lower arms to do at some point. There's no way it could be any harder than the rears ! They were a pig to do. I think because mines a E61 with air suspension it made it harder.
  4. Replaced both rear rose bushes and integral links yesterday.
  5. While replacing my rose bushes yesterday i noticed that my O/S CV boot had a small split in it. It looks like a pig of a job to change, has anyone replaced the CV boot on a E61 before ? Anyone know of any guides ? Or would it be easier to change the whole drive shaft ?
  6. Yeah i was planning on doing that as well.
  7. Well, this did the trick so i guess its the rose bushes.
  8. Thanks guys. Is it number 2 ?
  9. Nope, hand brake is off. Had a look around, took the wheel off...... can't pin point where it's coming from. I can't get any form of movement in the suspension when the wheel is in the air. Need a mate underneath while i rock the car.
  10. Only rear N/S. Haven't had a chance to investigate. Anyone had this ? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. Think my turbo seals are knackered. No play in the shaft tho [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  13. Yeah, i've gone for 3mm silicone ones. Yesterday i found 2 of the vac pipes on the vacuum manifold broken so going to replace ALL of them.
  14. Looking at images of 530d turbos and parts diagrams it appears that the turbo's are not watercooled so the only coolant system on that side of the engine (front) is the thermostat housing and water pump so might not need to remove too much
