Very nice!, Tekno certainly do a nice model. I have the Tekno model of Robert's scania among my collection but I've kind of lost interest in them so haven't bought anything for a while. Cheers Neilf Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Thule roof bars

Does anyone use Thule roof bars on their saloon?. I'm interested in how the feet look when fitted to the car as I'm after a permanent install and ideally want something that isn't going to leave the roof recess open if that makes a any sense. Thanks in advance. Neil Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Genuine E39 M5 mirror lenses

Sold. Cheers Neilf Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Genuine LH & RH E39 M5 mirror lenses in excellent condition. Both show a manufacturing date of 5/98. They have the grey connecting plugs and all wiring is intact as are the connecting posts for the heaters. Both lenses are the convex type and are 100% with absolutely no signs of liquid failure. Both locking rings are also intact and free moving. RH side is marked HEGH0066K R LH side is marked HEGH0065K L Price is £110 for the pair including UK postage which I think is more than fair considering that these are nearly £300 each from BMW. 8. Thanks Dean I'm at work at the minute but will pm you details when I get home later this evening. Cheers Neilf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Both mirrors in good condition with a few tiny stone chips and a couple of small scratches on drivers side, nothing a good cut and polish wouldn't sort out. The passenger side glass is unmarked but the drivers side has as one showing and a few marks beneath the glass. Both switchpack and power module are in excellent condition. These came from a fellow forum member in fully working condition and have sat in the box since I bought them a couple of years back. Looking for £280 including UK postage. Kenford Reed was the fella in southampton with a pair of long lines Mick. He's had a few nice scanias including the "ice road truckers" custom paint job. Most of his trucks I've seen recently have been DAFs though. As far as I know both longlines have been sold now, I've seen one pulling a flat on the M25 a few times and the other has gone to a container haulier who pulls out of Felixstowe. Cheers Neilf

Without doubt the best truck I've had. Comfortable to drive, plenty of storage and a lovely big bed. Mine was a manual but I was seriously impressed with the auto box in the euro 6. Company I'm working at now has mostly CF Dafs and although I only drive occasionally I still think there a great all round truck. Cheers Neilf

Ive got to say the facilities on Lakenheath were very impressive and the staff wanted for nothing, and I mean nothing. It was like just little America with prices to match. Cheers Neilf
  13. Champagne 1 has electric seats, black centre console and silver trims. Champagne 2 has manual seats, champagne leather centre console and wood trim, can't remember it actual name. There may be other detail changes but these are the biggies. Cheers Neilf Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Hers a couple of the last truck I drove for a living. Sat for two days on the USAF base at Lakenheath, a regular job for me. Another couple of it not quite so clean outside of bath. I woke up to this and had to leave the trailer on site because I couldn't get it up the ramp that lead to the yard. It took me the best part of 5 hours to do the 3 hour journey home. I also got tho try this one out for a couple of weeks. It had delivery mileage only when I collected it and the company were going to buy it until our self proclaimed heavy haulage expert decided that his 4x2 unit was ideal for moving a 40T box across Germany. The fallout was rumoured to cost a five figure sum and the company said that all future purchases would be 6x2. Cheers Neilf Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

This is the one I'm thinking of. 42 years old and still earning a living. I wonder if any of today's computer controlled beasts will still be working away in 2057?. Cheers Neilf
