  2. Slight issue. Trying to diagnose a problem with a 2007 e90 320i M Sport Saloon. Cold startup is fine. Once warm car sounds like a Harley and is missfiring. Also backfires if you rev at standstill. Drives perfectly, doesn't miss or anything, no lights on the dash, until you stop at lights or in traffic. As soon as you set off again, a puff of white/blue smoke (which smells of oil) comes from the exhaust, also smells in the cabin. The longer you sit, the larger the plume of smoke. Is this valve seals? Oil Separator already been changed as hoping this was the culprit, obviously not. I've read that some BMW dealers and specialists do the valve seals without removing the head, only the cams, is that true?! Basically it's a car I took a punt on to sell on and by the looks of it so far, I've lost, a pretty penny too. Some you win some you loose I suppose. Any tips? Or should I just cut my losses, stick it on eBay as spares repairs and hopefully earn some money back. Jam Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. Well between both a slightly out of shape rocker cover and a blown sump gasket, yes haha. The vaccum hoses, air hoses etc have all been done so don't believe it's them. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
  4. At the minute it does act like a bloody vauxhall. As I only drive it at the weekend currently, god does it throw a paddy on first start. Like a child throwing its toys out of its pram! Missfiring, juddering, rich....i usually call it bastard and threaten to sell it and it calms down haha It saw the 320i I bought the other day and threw a wobbly as well...positive this car has a soul! XD

  6. The amount of oil mine currently leaks means it doesnt need an oil change...its always got fresh in it haha. But im with Dan, TripleQX ECP stuff. Upped the visc a bit at the moment to change the sump leak from piddling to dribbling XD Jam
  7. Hi All at CW, hope all is well. Have a bit of an issue. A friend of mine owns an 11 plate 320D and a couple of the LED indicator bulbs have blown in the front head lamp. Am I right in thinking you have to replace the whole headlamp?! It's causing bulb errors (although only three of the LED's have blown) Reg is YR11 FHO Last six are F060992 Thanks Jamie
  8. 1998 Renault Clio 1.2 Petrol, Manual 77,000 Miles Good Service History One Owner From New MOT Until July 2017 Interior is immaculate, exterior has some minor war wounds but expected with the age. Best thing is that it has nothing to go wrong! No PAS, no ABS, no Electrical Gremlins. It all just works! Doesnt have a sunroof either, so no leaking seals to worry about. Slight blow from back box and the front brake pads sound like they need a bit of grease on them. Will try and sort these out at the weekend. Ive driven it around for a couple of days (100 miles odd) and apart from the brake squeal its spot on! Forgot what driving a non PAS car was like! Ideal learner car or runabout. I liken it to a pound coin, golden and shiny, a little rough around the edges but worth every penny! All that for £400 (or near offers of course) Located just outside of Thame, M40 JCT7
  9. Ive just aquired an 07 plate E90 320i M Sport Saloon in Black myself, bought it cheap with minor issues (mainly paint, a filthy interior and the dreaded oil separator issue) Reading this sounds they are buggers to sell. GLWS on yours though, looks very tidy!
  10. SOLD.
  11. Hmm Ok, what are you using as the source of WiFi. Home broadband or mobile internet? Remembering on the phone, it has to be made visible for the head unit to pick it up. Doable in the settings of the WiFi hotspot. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
  12. KODi...Say no more. Plenty of cheap or expensive boxes on eBay. I've got an MXQ box. Old now but still good. Have live TV (including all sky and BBC channels and all of the on demand stuff) Get a little windows based PC then Google FreeTelly (it's a KODi edition) J Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
  13. Only problem is that virgin might not be connected to the OPs location. Virgin isn't available at mine and I'm less than 15 minutes from Oxford city centre. Shame as down the road a guy I know is on there super duper 500mbs + service! Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
  14. Try here: http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/btwchecker.php for the availability sheets. and Here : http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/broadbandchecker.php to check your own address and line, look for where it says FTTC Another site you could use is: https://www.homeandwork.openreach.co.uk/fibre-broadband/superfast-fibre/buy-it-now.aspx This explains a lot and you can check directly with BT what you can get (probably the most accurate)
