  1. Having owned the car for 6 months now thought I'd post some pics and changes made since I have it. So having bought it as a standard se with 100k on the clock it looked like this... The after a few upgrades (mostly from members here I might add!) she know looks like this on the blackberry at least! Off the top of my head I have, Changed fabric to leather seats and doorcards Wrapped vavona in black carbon New licence plates Led number plate lamps Satin guage rings for speedo MId installed (although not really working!) New mats 18" style 42's and new tyres (will need a major refurb very soon) Shadowline trim around the windows Black Grilles Sport kickplates will be on tomorrow LED markers are on the way in the post! Put a picture of the mats in there are mine were ok but old and the drivers side was knackered, got them for £12 delivered. Not as good as OEM (about half the weight) but look good, fit perfectly and delivered in two days - even came with a bag of OEM fixings for the floor! Website was value car mats, just type IWANTADEAL at the checkout Future upgrades will be proper interior trim (mine are wrapped and its ok, not brilliant), paintless dent removal, sport bumpers, new pads and discs (they do squeal a little) and double din if I cant get the mid working. I'll look in to lowering because it looks really high at the back!
  2. Look great on a darker coloured car, not sure how they will look on a Bluewater metallic body! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

  12. Chi have you still got these? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  13. I also saw that guide but unfortunately without the pics it seems very involved but is better as it does retain the sliding mechanism from the e38 armrest. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. Had the armrest back out again so I could for some spacers to the rear hinges and trim the eject box holder. So much easier with a Dremel! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  15. Test fitted and it's all good! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  16. Also decided to tackle the E38 armrest I've been ignoring for far too long. I started by taking the E39 armrest apart and seeing the difference between them. My e39 armrest is tilting and sliding so likely added to the chalenge. After much cutting and filing I ended up with the e38 top fitted to the e39 base so very happy with that. Just need to file down the rear hinges on the e38 side compartments and butcher the middle compartment from the e38 armrest as it catches in loads of places. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  17. Productive day yesterday. Fixed the dodgy front parking sensor so PDC working again. Just swapped our one of the front sensors in the end and that sorted it but had to go through them one by one to find the broken one. Used this satin black paint to respray one of the old blue ones...was impressed with it and loads left over. Will use it paint the wiper arms and the upright exterior trims on the doors as they are faded and marked. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  18. That's awsome feedback. Once I've had enough of ploughing money in to the e39 I know what's next Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  19. Very nice. How is it compared to the E39? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  20. Well that was unfortunate. Temp repair at roadside from the AA and proper repair from the mechanic yesterday. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  21. Sorry mate mine are gone Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

  24. I'm also going to enter it into a local car show next year as a modern classic. Have a target of 11 months to get it the way I want Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  25. A few little niggles. The car does not like the new front sensors even though they are all known good so I'll have to spray the old ones black. The fog lights also have different plugs so need to sort that asap Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
