    The EU Referendum poll

OK this makes scary reading (and I Googled some, it is accurate!) Cadbury moved factory to Poland 2011 with EU grant. Ford Transit moved to Turkey 2013 with EU grant. Jaguar Land Rover has recently agreed to build a new plant in Slovakia with EU grant, owned by Tata, the same company who have trashed our steel works and emptied the workers pension funds. Peugeot closed its Ryton (was Rootes Group) plant and moved production to Slovakia with EU grant. British Army's new Ajax fighting vehicles to be built in SPAIN using SWEDISH steel at the request of the EU to support jobs in Spain with EU grant, rather than Wales. Dyson gone to Malaysia, with an EU loan. Crown Closures, Bournemouth (Was METAL BOX), gone to Poland with EU grant, once employed 1,200. M&S manufacturing gone to far east with EU loan. Hornby models gone. In fact all toys and models now gone from UK along with the patents all with with EU grants. Gillette gone to eastern Europe with EU grant. Texas Instruments Greenock gone to Germany with EU grant. Indesit at Bodelwyddan Wales gone with EU grant. Sekisui Alveo said production at its Merthyr Tydfil Industrial Park foam plant will relocate production to Roermond in the Netherlands, with EU funding. Hoover Merthyr factory moved out of UK to Czech Republic and the Far East by Italian company Candy with EU backing. ICI integration into Holland’s AkzoNobel with EU bank loan and within days of the merger, several factories in the UK, were closed, eliminating 3,500 jobs Boots sold to Italians Stefano Pessina who have based their HQ in Switzerland to avoid tax to the tune of £80 million a year, using an EU loan for the purchase. JDS Uniphase run by two Dutch men, bought up companies in the UK with £20 million in EU 'regeneration' grants, created a pollution nightmare and just closed it all down leaving 1,200 out of work and an environmental clean-up paid for by the UK tax-payer. They also raided the pension fund and drained it dry. UK airports are owned by a Spanish company. Scottish Power is owned by a Spanish company. Most London buses are run by Spanish and German companies. The Hinkley Point C nuclear power station to be built by French company EDF, part owned by the French government, using cheap Chinese steel that has catastrophically failed in other nuclear installations. Now EDF say the costs will be double or more and it will be very late even if it does come online. Swindon was once our producer of rail locomotives and rolling stock. Not any more, it's Bombardier in Derby and due to their losses in the aviation market, that could see the end of the British railways manufacturing altogether even though Bombardier had EU grants to keep Derby going which they diverted to their loss-making aviation side in Canada. 39% of British invention patents have been passed to foreign companies, many of them in the EU The Mini cars that Cameron stood in front of as an example of British engineering, are built by BMW mostly in Holland and Austria. His campaign bus was made in Germany even though we have Plaxton, Optare, Bluebird, Dennis etc., in the UK. The bicycle for the Greens was made in the far east, not by Raleigh UK but then they are probably going to move to the Netherlands too as they have said recently. Anyone who thinks the EU is good for British industry or any other business simply hasn't paid attention to what has been systematically asset-stripped from the UK. Name me one major technology company still running in the UK, I used to contract out to many, then the work just dried up as they were sold off to companies from France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, etc., and now we don't even teach electronic technology for technicians any more, due to EU regulations. I haven't detailed our non-existent fishing industry the EU paid to destroy, nor the farmers being paid NOT to produce food they could sell for more than they get paid to do nothing, don't even go there. I haven't mentioned what it costs us to be asset-stripped like this, nor have I mentioned immigration, nor the risk to our security if control of our armed forces is passed to Brussels or Germany. Find something that's gone the other way, I've looked and I just can't. If you think the EU is a good idea, 1/ You haven't read the party manifesto of The European Peoples' Party. 2/ You haven't had to deal with EU petty bureaucracy tearing your business down. 3/ You don't think it matters.

    Council complaints.

Only in Britain - Complaints to Councils - extracts from letters written to local councils:...(All bona-fide) 1. It's the dogs mess that I find hard to swallow. 2. I want some repairs done to my cooker as it has backfired and burnt my knob off. 3. I wish to complain that my father twisted his ankle very badly when he put his foot in the hole in his back passage. 4. Their 18 year old son is continually banging his balls against my fence. 5. I wish to report that tiles are missing from the outside toilet roof. I think it was bad wind the other day that blew them off. 6. My lavatory seat is cracked, where do I stand? 7. I am writing on behalf of my sink, which is coming away from the wall. 8. Will you please send someone to mend the garden path. My wife tripped and fell on it yesterday and now she is pregnant. 9. I request permission to remove my drawers in the kitchen. 10.. 50% of the walls are damp, 50% have crumbling plaster, and 50% are just plain filthy. 11.. I am still having problems with smoke in my new drawers. 12.. The toilet is blocked and we cannot bath the children until it is cleared.. 13.. Will you please send a man to look at my water, it is a funny colour and not fit to drink. 14.. Our lavatory seat is broken in half and now is in three pieces. 15.. I want to complain about the farmer across the road. Every morning at 6am his cock wakes me up and it's now getting too much for me. 16.. The man next door has a large erection in the back garden, which is unsightly and dangerous. 17.. Our kitchen floor is damp. We have two children and would like a third, so please send someone round to do something about it. 18.. I am a single woman living in a downstairs flat and would you please do something about the noise made by the man on top of me every night. 19.. Please send a man with the right tool to finish the job and satisfy my wife. 20.. I have had the clerk of works down on the floor six times but I still have no satisfaction. 21.. This is to let you know that our lavatory seat is broke and we can't get BBC2. 22.. My bush is really overgrown round the front and my back passage has fungus growing in it. 23.. He's got this huge tool that vibrates the whole house and I just can't take it anymore.

    Engine RPM at 70mph

On a serious note, performance cars tend to be geared to run out of revs at top speed and more every day cars geared to run out of power before they run out of revs at their top speed. I say "tend" because there are a load of exceptions to the rule. The reason for this is to make the best use of the power at any given time at the compromise of economy and cruising comfort.

    Engine RPM at 70mph

No, seriously, I'm genuinely surprised. I thought that an M5 would be barely ticking over at 70 even allowing for the fact that it's a petrol engine so higher revving. Out of interest, the standard S62 4.9 pushes out 394bhp - a tad over twice what my lowly 525d does at 194bhp, but not 250bhp more. [emoji6] Sent from my Vodafone Smart ultra 6 using Tapatalk

Diesel in a M5! Oh No!

Don't see where all this 'wouldn't want it back', 'totally wrecked engine' and 'claims for compensation' comes from? It's diesel in a petrol car, the equivalent of trying to burn oil and many petrol cars do that due to worn rings and valve guides (and keep going for many, many miles if not years!). Providing the car hasn't been driven miles on a weak mixture of diesel and petrol (so it actually keeps burning oil and cokes up) a simple flush through and clean up of the injectors and plugs will have it back on the road in no time. If it was petrol in a diesel car that is far more serious, petrol doesn't like being compressed and has a tendency to ignite with very unpleasant results! It also washes the lubricant off parts that are not supposed to run dry (fuel pumps, valve guides etc.) and the results can be catastrophic. As for compensation for 'stress', 'inconvenience', oh the shame of seeing your beloved car trailered away etc. absolute bollocks! The blame and claim culture we are engendering in this country is getting ridiculous, if you don't believe me just look at your next insurance renewal notice, the compo has to come from somewhere FFS.

    The EU Referendum poll

Well, public anxiety over immigration is the no:1 issue in the referendum as Nigel Farage pointed out long ago. This sentiment will be expressed in the voting booths of the UK on the 23rd June.Leave now have a commanding lead in the polls. It is all over for Cameron, especially as Labour voters are getting a two for one...out of the EU, and Cameron out on his ear. What I am going to warn you about now, is something that has not been written in the newspapers or commented on.When the vote for Leave is announced, you will see the true colours of the EU exposed. I am expecting the EU to completely disregard the result, and they have to do it, otherwise a string of other countries will follow suit. No less than the very survival of the EU will be at stake.Basically the UK like Greece, will not be allowed fo leave. We have been indulged in this little exercise by the EU, solely for Cameron to shoot the UKIP fox before the last General Election. Cameron never expected to get a majority and have to honour his promise of a referendum on EU membership. Victory for him was a double edged sword. This denial by the EU elite will lead to extreme public unrest on the streets of British cities not seen since the Poll Tax riots, as this democratic mandate is overturned. Already even pro-Remain MP's are planning to legislate in parliament against the result. You will then see most clearly that actually you no longer live in a democracy, the EU as I have always said, is an autocratic dictatorship. And it will act as such on the day after the referendum result.

    The EU Referendum poll

https://brexiteu.files.wordpress.com/2016/01/1975-referendum-yes.pdf There has been duplicity on both sides but since it has been the intention of both red and blue to drag us further into the EU, democracy has taken a bit of a back seat until the rise of UKIP
